eNom Launches VeriSign Trust™ Seal
SANTA MONICA, Calif. – July 19, 2010 – eNom, Inc., the world’s largest ICANN accredited domain name wholesale registrar and the largest reseller of VeriSign SSL Certificates, returns to HostingCon 2010 as a Gold Sponsor where today the company announced the launch of the VeriSign Trust Seal to its expansive security product offering catalog.
The VeriSign Trust Seal insignia will signal to visitors of the web site that the publisher of the site has passed a three point verification process by VeriSign, the company already trusted by nearly 90 percent of the largest internet retailers to secure their customer transactions. In addition to the verification, VeriSign Trust Seal provides a daily web site malware scan and alerts the publisher immediately if it detects malware on a given site. VeriSign trusted sites benefit from the added visibility of VeriSign® Seal-in-Search™, which displays the VeriSign seal next to search result links from popular search engines on enabled browsers. For web sites that do not require an SSL certificate, the VeriSign Trust Seal presents an alternative that assures visitors of the site’s safety.
“At eNom, we know that security and trust is as important an ingredient to a successful web site as the domain name itself. The VeriSign Trust Seal service is a proven, reliable and simple method for establishing that trust and we’re proud that VeriSign has chosen to partner with us to introduce this new product to the marketplace; especially during HostingCon,” said Chris Sheridan, vice president of Sales for eNom, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Demand Media.
“We are pleased to expand our relationship with eNom with their launch of the VeriSign Trust Seal,” said Fran Rosch, senior vice president, Authentication Products & Strategy at VeriSign. “As a platinum partner, we look forward to continuing to work with eNom as they provide their resellers with the trust and security products they desire on their web sites.”

eNom and NameJet Partner to Offer .CO General Availability Pre-Order Service
Auction style service will provide a cost-effective alternative to .CO Landrush registration for NameJet customers
SANTA MONICA, Calif. – June 25, 2010 – eNom, Inc., the world’s largest ICANN accredited domain name wholesaler and accredited .CO registrar, today announced a partnership with NameJet, to offer a general availability (GA) pre-order bidding service for new .CO domain names, designed to improve its customers’ chances of obtaining desirable .CO domain names during the GA period, for less than Landrush registration prices.
During the pre-order period, which is now open and will remain open until July 19 at 11:00 pm EDT, potential registrants may place a bid for any non-registered .CO domain name for $39.00, which includes the application fee and one-year registration fee. If more than one potential registrant bids for the same .CO domain name the bids will be entered into a transparent auction format allowing potential registrants to see other bids and to raise their own accordingly.
Once .CO GA opens, NameJet’s proprietary auction platform swings into action, utilizing a multitude of resources to attempt to register the desired domains more efficiently than an individual and thus optimizing each participant’s chances of securing the domain name they want. Auction participants who do not win their choice of domain name will not be charged their initial bid amount.
“eNom is pleased to collaborate with NameJet to give customers the best opportunity to secure the .CO domain names they want at below land rush prices. This complements our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with the most diverse selection of domain names at affordable pricing,” said Chris Sheridan, vice president of sales for Demand Media, the parent company of eNom, Inc.
“We are excited to be able to provide this .CO landrush alternative for our customers. Our main objective is to provide services that allow our customers the opportunity to acquire the domain names they want and eNom has a proven track record in this area,” said Steve Brown, General Manager of NameJet.

eNom Supports .TV Premium Domain Price Reductions
--VeriSign implements new pricing structure to boost .TV premium domain adoption rate--
Posted on March 19, 2010
SANTA MONICA, California – March 19, 2010 – eNom, Inc., the world’s largest ICANN accredited domain name wholesaler, today voiced its support for the updated .TV premium domain pricing model and widened availability being implemented by .TV Registry provider, VeriSign. As of today, all available .TV premium domains will be competitively re-priced. In addition, the renewal price for new Premium domains at eNom will be set to the customer’s standard non-premium .TV rate. The move is expected to boost interest in the .TV domain and secure its future as the must-have address for online video.
VeriSign announced today an updated offering of tens of thousands of .TV premium domain names, which are now reduced in price. To best manage the renewed interest this price reduction will create, eNom® has re-launched its own site, www.enom.tv. Utilizing the company’s Instant Reseller™ platform, www.enom.tv includes a full, download-able list of available .TV premium domains and their completely re-priced year-one registration fees.
“The updated pricing structure for .TV premium domains is a great response to the market. We expect that significantly more customers will now enter the .TV market, and that existing .TV customers will add names to their portfolios. As such, these changes mark an extremely positive and welcomed step in the right direction for the .TV community.” said Chris Sheridan, vice president of platform for Demand Media®, the parent company of eNom.
To register an available and competitively priced .TV premium domain name, visit the new www.enom.tv site or www.enomcentral.com.
